Allu Arjun star continues to stand strong in Hindi belt while other films have expired

Pushpa: The Rise has stormed the box office all over the world to end up as a bonafide superhit in all territories both domestic and foreign. And when we say all territories, it’s because the film has finally achieved the “superhit” mark in the Hindi belt, also in its fourth week, where it is still doing business and has now exceeded the 75 crore threshold. Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil and directed by Sukumar, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, hit the big screen on December 17, 2021, and although it has almost gone its way in other languages, the film is still doing rolling business in its hindi version. Pushpa was missing just 54 lakh net from the 75-crore mark on his fourth Friday, January 7, but crossed the mark yesterday, January 9 (its fourth Saturday), which has also pushed it from a hit to a “superhit” verdict in the hindi region. While a decent portion of the Hindu market still works well for the Sukumar director, it is Maharashtra and Gujarat where the film enjoys a dream round. The lack of competition at the box office at the moment, with Jersey being postponed, 83 nearing the end of the race, Spider-Man: No Way Home has almost exhausted its theatrical legs, albeit after a huge success, and no new releases on the horizon then both the creators of RRR and Radhe Shyam have postponed their release dates indefinitely, it also helps Pushpa by leaps and bounds continue to fill its coffers.
