Man killed in Bloor Street shooting

A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting late at night in the Bloor Street East area on Saturday, Toronto police said.

Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired near a fast-food restaurant in Church Street and the Bloor Street East area just before noon.

At the scene, police said they found a man without vital signs who suffered “very serious” gunshot wounds. Police also found several shotguns nearby.

Officers said they performed life-saving measures on the victim. He was then taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police have identified the victim as Olivier Dundas from Toronto.

Officers are looking for three male suspects last seen running towards Sherbourne Street. They added that a perimeter was set up for forensic investigation and the homicide unit will take over the case.
