Part-Time Lecturer Pool in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Cal Poly. Current openings to teach courses in Aerospace Engineering for fall, winter, and/or spring quarters, during the 2021-2022 academic year.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is required. Applicants must have strong knowledge and skill in the areas of Propulsion, Aircraft/Spacecraft Design, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Controls, Structures, and/or Aerodynamics. Candidates with extensive industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience and commitment to student-centered learning and teaching, as well as the ability to collaboratively work in multidisciplinary settings is required. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required.
An advanced degree, teaching experience and experience in the discipline is preferred.
Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
The person holding this position is considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
