As a Banquet Server at The Morris Inn, you will be a part of a team that provides professional service to banquet guests. The Morris Inn is a AAA 4 Diamond Hotel and sits at the heart of Notre Dame’s storied campus. It continues to be the “living room” of the University of Notre Dame where guests will find the perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy a business lunch, family gathering, special occasion or a casual meal.

A typical day includes:
- Assisting with set-up and tear down of banquet events.
- Serving food, pouring beverages and handling special requests of guests.
- Assisting with keeping work area and equipment clean and in good working condition.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid at 90 and 180 days of continuous employment). Candidates are only eligible if they are a new employee to the University – current Notre Dame employees who transfer are not eligible. Other rules and conditions apply.
Ability to bend, walk and be on feet for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Previous banquet service or bar experience
+High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
