It has taken more than four full years since it was originally announced, but we have finally got our first look at The Bob’s Burgers movie and I highly suspect that fans of the long-running Fox animated series will be pleased with this first trailer. Nothing has changed, however image format.

If you’re wondering why Bob throws burgers in front of the Wonder Wharf theme park instead of inside his restaurant, may I then refer you to the official synopsis of the movie?

The Bob’s Burgers movie is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery adventure based on the long-running Emmy-winning series. The story begins when a burst water pipe creates a huge sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers that blocks the entrance indefinitely and destroys the Belcher family’s plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers increase, these underdogs help each other find hope and struggle to get back behind the counter where they belong. “

Sounds like Bob’s burgers business as usual, give or take a UFO and a robot. But would you like to know something wild? This is Disney’s first 2D animated film released in theaters in America since it was made Winnie the Pooh in 2011 – and Bobs has only this distinction because Disney bought 20th Century Fox in 2020.

Bob’s Burgers: The Movie featuring voice talents from Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Kline and David Wain. You can notice absence by comedian Jay Johnston, who voted for Jimmy Pesto Sr. in the TV series before it was discovered he participated in the uprising on January 6, 2021. As far as I know, a new voice actor has not been announced and Jimmy has not yet appeared in the current season of the show. The character is not in this trailer either, but it’s hard to imagine that such a big supporting role does not play a role in the film, especially when work on the film began years ago and Johnston was only dropped from the series last December. . We will see! Uh, listen!
