Andrew Garfield is one of the most beloved actors across the globe. Movies like The Social Network, The Amazing Spiderman and most recently Tick Tick Book, The Eyes of Tammy Faye have garnered praise from both critics and audiences. He also made the audience roar with his emotionally charged and exciting cameo on Spider-Man, No Way Home.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, he recalls that he tried for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and lost the role to Ben Barnes. He said, “I remember I was so desperate. I auditioned for Prince Caspian in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia,’ and I thought, ‘This could be this, this could be this.’ And the beautiful, “Genius actor Ben Barnes ended up getting the role. I think it was up to me and him and I remember I was obsessed.”
In addition, he added that when asked around why he did not get the role, he was told that it was because of his appearance. He remembered how the news was brought to him: ‘It’s because they do not think you are beautiful enough, Andrew.’ Ben Barnes is a very handsome, talented man. In hindsight, I am not unhappy with the decision and I think he did a beautiful job. ”
Well, we do not know what they were thinking, but we certainly do not agree with their assessment.
