On Tuesday’s broadcast of “Fox Business Tonight,” Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said Democrats know that unless they pass the ballot, they will be solidly defeated in the 2022 election, “and that’s why they spend money. “all this time on this voting rights and filibusters and not taking care of all the things they have messed up, the virus, the border, inflation, government spending. We have not spent time on that.”
Tuberville said:[T]hey will take 50 votes, pass all they possibly can. Because they know that if they do not get some sort of voting right action done, David, then they will get kicked in the neck next November. It’s coming, they know it’s coming, and that’s why they’re spending all this time on this voting right and filibuster and not taking care of all the things they’ve messed up, the virus, the border, inflation, government spending. We have not spent time on that. ”
He added: “They have not taken care of this country. They have not taken care of the American people on either side. They have completely destroyed everything the previous administration has done and everything is out of control. So this is theirs. only choice, only choice, only way to retain power. “
