Part-Time Hourly Wage: $16.00

Position Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, this
position assists the lead faculty instructor in the teaching of the operation and maintenance of Natural Resources
equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the lead faculty instructor in the teaching of the operation and
    maintenance of Natural Resources equipment including chainsaws, tractors, mowers, ATV’s and boats.
  • Organizes and manages
    instructional activities as directed by the lead faculty instructor
  • Seeks feedback on course delivery and student learning
  • Works cooperatively to accomplish the goals of the class and course participants
  • At all times maintains a safe working area and
    conditions.

Qualifications – Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Previous experience with all aspects of operating the
    equipment used
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong technology skills including usage of email
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of subject area.
  • Interest in and commitment to the learner-centered
    educational process.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Caring attitude toward students.
  • Learning and self-motivation skills.
  • Willingness to extend self to help students succeed.
  • Openness to suggestions for improvement.
  • Attention to
    detail.
