The book by Boba Fett is not as popular after publication as The Mandalorian

New data reveals that the demand for Disney +’s The Book of Boba Fett is not as great as it was for The Mandalorian back in 2019.

Even now it The book about Boba Fett has started, it is not as popular as colleague Star wars show The Mandalorian. Like Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm is working hard to develop numerous streaming shows that take place in the galaxy far, far away. The first to debut at Disney +, The Mandalorian, became a bona fide hit when it premiered in 2019, and season 2 in 2020 only increased the interest in the adventures of the lone bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). The development of shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka has apparently been driven by The Mandalorian‘s success.

A spin-off of The Mandalorian, The book about Boba Fett is only the second live-action Star wars show for release at Disney +. It’s also something the audience has been waiting for a long time, as it focuses on fans’ favorite original trilogy character Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison). The Mandalorian season 2 ended with Fett and sharpshooter Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) returning to Tatooine and taking over Jabba the Hutt’s criminal empire. Now, The book about Boba Fett follows their efforts to preserve their efforts on Tatooine’s abdomen.

There are a few probable causes for this The book about Boba Fett lagging behind its predecessor. At the time of The Mandalorians debut, it was the only live-action Star wars the show available at Disney +, and as a result had great interest. In addition, its premiere featured a game-changing twist in the form of the Baby Yoda unveiling. Although director Robert Rodriguez hinted The book about Boba Fett‘s first episode would also have a twist, none of that caliber took place. Instead, The book about Boba Fett prefers more a slow burn approach. It’s not a bad thing, but with fans more accustomed to faster storytelling these days, it may decrease the number of viewers weekly.
