Man wins lottery for fourth time for $ 4.6 million: ‘I’m addicted to it’

A Pennsylvania man won $ 1 million from the lottery this month, marking the fourth time he has won the jackpot since 1999.

Mike “Lucky” Luciano won his latest prize from a $ 20 scratch card on January 6, according to Center Daily Times. This is the fourth time the 55-year-old has been playing the lottery in his life, and the third time he has won big cash prizes in the last six years.

Last year, Luciano won $ 500,000 from the Pennsylvania State lottery, the Daily Times reported. He also won $ 3 million in 2016 and $ 100,000 in 1999, bringing his total winnings up to $ 4.6 million.

“I just want to thank everyone for their lyrics and sweet messages,” he told the news media this week. Luciano said he purchased the ticket on Jan. 6 at Rutter’s grocery store along Pennsylvania Route 764 after stopping to play a video game machine that his late mother enjoyed.

Realizing he had won, Luciano drove straight to the state lottery office in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, to submit the ticket. A representative at the Pennsylvania Lottery Office in Harrisburg told Daily Times Friday that an official announcement of his award would be made after the necessary paperwork has been completed.

In January 2021, after winning half a million dollars, Luciano said he felt “blessed” to win so many times throughout his life, but admitted to having a gambling addiction.
