BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ (CBS) – Two people have died after New Jersey State Police say the car they were sitting in hit a van before it crashed into a supply bar. The accident happened on Jacksonville Road in Springfield Township around 3:54 p.m.
The agency said a four-passenger BMW 325xi was heading south when a Hino van turned left out of a driveway. The car hit the rear of the truck before hitting a utility bar and a branch line.
Driver Tyshaun Cater, 24, of Mount Holly, and rear seat passenger Christopher Blackmon, 53, of Brown Mills, were thrown out of the car and died on the spot. The other two passengers are recovering, officials said.
The accident is still under investigation.
