Criminal Justice Technology (Adjunct) Instructor

Job Description:
This is to fill part-time adjunct faculty positions on the Brandon campus, Dale Mabry campus,
MacDill A.F.B. center, Plant City campus, SouthShore campus, and Ybor City campus.

Supplemental Job

The College is seeking applicants to teach part-time for upcoming semesters. Applications will remain
actively on file for one year. To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the qualifying degree and/or qualifying graduate semester
hours. If you are selected for a screening interview for an adjunct faculty position, you must bring an official transcript(s) in a sealed
envelope from the educational institution to the interview. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the
United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential

The position requires: (1) at least a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours
in any combination of Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Law Enforcement/Corrections, Law Enforcement/Corrections related field, Homeland
Security or Crime Scene/Forensics, or (2) a Juris Doctorate degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer applicants with previous higher education teaching experience.

Pay Rate:
credit-course instructional faculty at HCC will be compensated at the rate of $75.00 per instructional point,
based on the number of assigned load points.
