Light to locally moderate rain is expected to continue in all areas of San Diego County until Tuesday morning, which could potentially affect some travel conditions, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperatures on Tuesday will mostly be a little below normal for this time of year. A warming trend begins Wednesday, with temperatures expected to rise several degrees Thursday in the 70s at lower altitudes.

Elevated burning is expected to continue until Tuesday due to an ongoing westerly swell at county beaches, creating some dangerous conditions, including increased risks of rip currents.

The Santa Ana wind is expected to take until Thursday and continue until Saturday. The highest gusts of 45-55 mph are likely to occur on Saturday, primarily in coastal slopes and foothills as well as below mountain passes, the NWS said.
