Ram Gopal Varma praises Allu Arjun by handing him the Chiranjeevi title as the new Megastar; deletes tweets later

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is known for making controversial tweets on several occasions. He often gets into trouble and rubs celebrities in the wrong way. This time, RGV apparently took a royal dig at Chiranjeevi’s family and his son Ram Charan, while praising Allu Arjun for the huge success of his recently released blockbuster film, Pushpa.

In a series of tweets, RGV praised Allu Arjun. However, he later deleted the tweets. The filmmaker targeted Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and his family by saying that Allu Arjun is the new ‘Megastar’. “All the other mega-heroes will only be known as Allu Arjun’s relatives in the future,” he commented. Some of Varma’s tweets looked like he just wanted to tease the family of Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan. While celebrating Allu Arjun’s performance in Pushpa, the director had also tagged Allu Aravind to bring such a talented son into the world.

These tweets had also triggered some Mega fans when he mentioned Allu Arjun as the next Mega star, while believing that they deliberately ignored Ram Charan from the list of stars from the mega family. Varma later deleted his tweets, calling Allu Arjun the new Megastar, which is Chiranjeevi’s title in the Tollywood industry. This is not the first time that Varma had commented on Chiranjeevi and his family members. He has previously commented on Pawan Kalyan and his political career, which provoked a negative reaction.

On the other hand, RGV sent out a series of tweets about love and marriage. Stated that nothing “murders” love faster than marriage, RGV said the secret behind happiness was to keep loving as long as it remained and then move on instead of getting into “a prison called marriage”. Interestingly, these observations by RGV came a few hours after actor Dhanush and director Aishwaryaa Dhanush announced their decision to split up.

“Star divorces are good trendsetters to warn young people about the dangers of marriage. Nothing kills love faster than marriage. The secret behind happiness is to continue to love as long as it lasts and then move on instead of getting into that prison,” called marriage.

“Love in a marriage lasts for fewer days than the days they celebrate it, which is 3 to 5 days. Smart people love, and dumbos get married.

“Only divorces should be celebrated with the song due to being liberated, and marriages should take place quietly in the process of testing each other’s perilous characteristics. Marriage is the most evil custom that our ugly ancestors have put over society when promulgating a continuous a cycle of unhappiness and sadness. “
