Tilted Towers returns as a new one Fortnite update is on the way which will see the ice melt further and the classic point of interest return.

Fans have seen several iterations of Tilted Towers over the years, and when Chapter 3 was launched in December, we were all shocked to discover that the classic POI had returned, but there was a catch.

It did not take long before players found out that the Tilted Towers were present on the new Chapter 3 map, but it was buried under much of the ice and snow. Fortunately, the snow has slowly receded and the Tilted Towers are about to return to Fortnite in its original form.

When will the Tilted Towers melt? Return date and time

Many Fortnite doctors and computer miners previously predicted that Tilted Towers would return with the v19.10 update on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. This has apparently been confirmed by the official Fortnite Twitter account after they recently tweeted “One more sleep” with an emoji of a high-rise town resembling Tilted Towers.

The official Fortnite Twitter Status account then confirmed the release date and date of the v19.10 update for January 18 at 4 AM ET, with the headline “Where we dropin?”.

Downtime usually lasts somewhere between one and two hours depending on how big the update is, but once it’s done, fans can expect to see the ice melt and Tilted Towers finally available again.

Where are the tipped towers in Fortnite Chapter 3?

When the Tilted Towers finally return to Fortnite island, players will find that the ice has melted and the point of interest will be available in the middle of the map between Camp Cuddle and Sanctuary.
