Britney Spears sends a letter of resignation to sister Jamie Lynn – National

Britney Spears is tired of hearing her name in her sister’s mouth and now threatens to sue Jamie Lynn if she continues to make “derogatory” statements about her while promoting her new book.

In a discontinuation letter, Britney’s lawyer Matthew Rosengart claims that the “bad” memories contain several “misleading or outrageous allegations.”

“Publicly airing false or fantastic complaints is wrong, especially when it’s designed to sell books. It’s also potentially illegal and defamatory,” Rosengart warns in the letter.

While promoting her new book, Things I should have said, Jamie Lynn has sat down for several interviews and used the spotlight to comment on her sister’s life, including the recent fight to end her conservatory.

In an interview with Good morning America last week, Jamie Lynn described herself as Britney’s “biggest supporter” and that she was struggling to finish the conservatory.

But in the book that hit the shelves this week, she also describes Britney’s past behaviors as “paranoid” and “irregular”.

The sisters have had a war of words on social media since GMA interview in which Britney shouted Jamie Lynn for having chosen to publish a memoir so soon after graduating from her conservatory.

Jamie Lynn has insisted she’s from a place of love, and has asked her sister to end the feud in her Instagram story over the weekend.

“Britney – Just call me, I’ve tried many times to speak directly to you and deal with this privately, as sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform,” she wrote at the time.

“In the meantime, please do not continue the story that I have not been there for you or that I am inventing things. I am happy to share how many times I have contacted you, supported you and tried to help. “It’s embarrassing and must stop. I love you,” she added.
