Towards the end of last year, Nvidia gave away 3 seriously amazing gaming PCs with the Matrix theme. They had a nasty green matrix-themed look and specs to get a PC gamer drooling over two of the devices with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti card, and while the third shook an RTX 3090. Like one who did not win one , it all made me very sad.
As Videocardz reports, Nvidia is back to keep the disappointment going with this new Matrix-themed RTX 3080 Ti, which is free to win, but only for residents of China. It gives hopefuls a bunch of potential competition, especially since the blog post is on the popular website Weibo. Not only is it a shot at a nice GPU, which is hard enough to buy at the moment let alone win, but it also looks nice.

How to buy a graphics card: tips on buying a graphics card in the barren silicon landscape that is 2021
Based on the RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition, the card has a black base color with matrix green highlights. These include the matrix style code printed on the card as well as a laser-etched LED logo that reads “War Starts on 1/14” in Chinese to celebrate the worldwide release of the new film Matrix Resurrections. It would look great in a black and green construction with a theme I can imagine the luminous green liquid cooling now.
The long-awaited sequel to one of the most beloved sci-fi franchises ever, Matrix Resurrections, released in other regions last year and has received a mixed reception. The first trailer drop before the film had many fans quite excited, and it even triggered a bit of deja vu for Keanus’ slightly younger clean-shaven baby face. The film itself was a bit of a shift from what some fans expected, but without going into spoilers here, it’s also a big critique of the video game culture.
Funnily enough, this card will probably not let you play the new Matrix Awaken’s demo, which was also released around the same time as the movie, but has only come to consoles. It’s a shame, because it’s very cool, and I’ve spent some time wandering around the open city, driving cars in one of the 38,146 ready-to-drive cars, a bit crazy on the PS5.
