Official trailer for Supernatural Thriller ‘Slapface’ about to shake

“What happened?” “Did you see that?” Shudder has unveiled the official trailer for Slapface, an indie horror film that lands on the streaming service in February. It originally premiered last year at the Cinequest Film Festival and FrightFest, and also visited the Grimmfest and Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival in Belgium. A boy deals with the loss of his mother by creating a dangerous relationship with a monster that is rumored to live in the forest. As the two gain a tentative trust, a bizarre friendship is born and Lucas is torn along in a series of original adventures. The stars of the film August Moden as Lucas, med Mike Manning, Dan Hedaya, Mirabelle Lee, Lukas Hassel, Libe Barer, Bianca D’Ambrosioand Chiara D’Ambrosio. This one won the audience award at Cinequest and looks like an exciting little horror film with a good twist in the story.

Since his only “friends” are a group of female thugs, he keeps to himself most of the time. But after a strange encounter with an inhuman monster, Lucas begins to withdraw from others. As the two gain a tentative trust, a bizarre friendship is born and Lucas is torn along in a series of original adventures. Slapface is both written and directed by a prolific filmmaker Jeremiah Kippdirector of the films Creepers, The Sadist, Love & Everything in Between, Black Wake, Broken Badges, Theresa & Allison previously, as well as tons of other short films. This one originally premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival last year, and also starred at the FrightFest. Shudder will debut Kipp’s Slapface streaming on Shudder starts February 3, 2022 coming soon this winter. Look scary or not?
