Top 15 snow in total for WNY from Monday’s storm

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – The Buffalo Public School District made a quick flip-flop on their decision to close schools Tuesday after a winter storm engulfed the city and large parts of western New York over Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekends.

District officials say they were initially optimistic and decided to keep schools open, then after further consultation with the city of Buffalo, they decided to close schools.
