The Spears sisters are back in business.
Britney Spears went on to blow up Jamie Lynn Spears via Instagram on Wednesday as it appears the pop star is still furious over her younger sister’s “Call Her Daddy” interview.
The “Toxic” singer, 40, reposted an earlier post she shared but quickly deleted, in which she said she should have “beaten” both Jamie Lynn and their mother, Lynne Spears. This time, however, Britney added an expanded – and even more enlightened – message.
“You selfish little lad !!!” Britney wrote to Jamie Lynn, 30, in the extra notebook. “Says how strange and stupid it was that I had bought a house for Mom !!! She was so proud and you told that interview girl that it was just weird…”
Britney referred to part of the “Call Her Daddy” interview where Jamie Lynn told at the time the “Stronger” singer offered to buy their mother a house if she was divorced from their father, Jamie Spears.
Jamie Lynn apparently hinted that she was feeling confused, telling podcast host Alex Cooper, “Now I look back, such a weird f-king thing to do.”
“Like I do not know why. It seems like a strange thing to say, ‘I’ll give you a house if you divorce your father.’ Why should your child be able to tell you that? ”
During another part of the interview, Jamie Lynn told Cooper that she felt scared when her big sister allegedly once grabbed a knife and locked them both inside a bedroom.
“It was really scary and I felt really insecure,” Jamie Lynn said of the alleged incident. “I think it’s important that I say that because I did not understand it – I was a child.”
She later called her sister a “brilliant young woman” who “must have been in pain.”
Britney wrote in response to the accusations of the knife incident: “Why is that conversation 20 min ??? and the most degrading to me… OH, BUT you will not keep talking about it because you do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings… anyway do you let it go on forever and say that you felt insecure about me and WEIRD. ”
The furious Grammy winner added: “F – k you Jamie Lynn !!!”
Britney also referred to another part of the interview where Jamie Lynn claimed that their mother hit her with a purse.
The “Overprotected” singer defended Lynne, claiming that Jamie Lynn was “f-king hateful” towards her and “deserved much more” than being hit by a purse.
“She should have WHIPPED YOUR ASS,” Britney added. “That poor mother took it too, just like I did in the end … she adored you too much.”
The pop superstar ended her latest post by remembering once she felt betrayed by her younger sister, shortly after her breakup with Justin Timberlake in 2002.
Britney claimed that Jamie Lynn dyed her hair like Christina Aguilera and would not play with her anymore.
“YOU shut me out when I needed you the most !!” she concluded. “Writes in your book and says I was not like your mother anymore … No, you hurt me.”
Less than 24 hours ago, Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, sent a termination-and-waiver letter to Jamie Lynn, in which he demanded that the “Sweet Magnolias” star stop “sending out false or fantastic complaints” that are ” potentially illegal and defamatory “while promoting her new memoir,” Things I Should Have Said. “
Jamie Lynn’s representatives have not responded to Page Six’s requests for comment on the letter or Britney’s recent post.
