Disney seems dead set on adapting all of their animated classics to live-action. Deadline has reported that Disney’s latest live-action adaptation will be off The Aristocrats.
The original film revolved around a family of Parisian cats who discover they are ready to inherit a fortune from their owner. But when a jealous butler kidnaps them and leaves them in the country, they must find their way home using an even-talking tomcat. Are there other kinds? Will Gluck (Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway) and Keith Bunin (Forward) is set to write the script for live-action customization The Aristocrats with Gluck also producing through his Olive Bridge Entertainment banner. The project is still in the very early stages of development and it is not known if the film will find its home in the cinema or on streaming. Sources told Deadline that the main characters would have a similar look to the live action Dame i Vagabonden movies that debuted at Disney + in 2019.

We have had The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan, and a handful of others. The studio has even more live-action adaptations of their animated classics on the way, including The little Mermaid, Pinocchio, Lilo & Stitch, Herculesand even Snow White and the Seven Dwarfswho has Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) plays Snow White and Gal Gadot (Red message) plays the evil queen.
