Released courtesy of the official Twitter accountthe retro looking poster is as psychedelic as they come, as Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is flanked by multiple variants of himself and others.

Showing off multiple versions of Doctor Strange, including Zombie Strange and Defender Strange, this final poster for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also offers another glimpse at the ensemble cast. Former Avenger Wanda Maximoff is looking suspiciously sinister at the top of the promo, with different versions of her splaying out from the red-eyed central image. The final poster has even been infused with a flavor of horror, with the ominous imagery and color palette no doubt hinting at the terror that will plague Doctor Strange and his team as they explore the multiverse. Director Sam Raimi has recently revealed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be the MCU’s first real foray into horror saying, “It is spooky at some times and scary at others. It’s unknown what you’ll find in the multiverse. It’s within that unknown that suspense and darkness exists. A tool to titillate the audience’s fear. Plus, Doctor Strange in the comics has always dealt with universes and dimensions that were quite spooky, so we tried to bring some of that into this film. “

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness picks up following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and finds The Master of the Mystic Arts turning to several allies to assist him in bringing order back to the madness of the multiverse as it continues to collapse around him. To prevent the MCU from crumbling into complete disarray, Doctor Strange will unite with some very powerful reinforcements, including Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff AKA The Scarlet Witch and Benedict Wong as Wong, who currently carries the mantle of The Sorcerer Supreme.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will also feature the debut of Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, a teenager with the ability to punch holes into other dimensions and thus travel between them. A skillset that is sure to come in very handy.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is expected to be full to the brim with cameos and surprises, with a recent teaser finally revealing that the superhero secret society The Illuminati will make an appearance.

Directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
