“It’s going to the hospital for me”

Bryan Adams has come down with his second case of COVID in a month, and announced the news with an Instagram post this morning.
Adams was tested positive after arriving at Milan’s Malpensa airport, just before the unveiling of the Pirelli calendar for 2022, which he recorded, whose theme is “On the Road” and features portraits of people like Iggy Pop, Grimes, Cher, St. Vincent, Saweetie and Jennifer Hudson.
Adams was scheduled to perform at a number of press events to promote the calendar and attend the annual Pirelli Calendar unveiling gala, though apparently that will not happen now.
Adams’ Instagram post reads: “Here I am, just arrived in Milan, and I tested positive for the second time in a month for COVID. So it’s off to the hospital for me.” He also thanked fans for their support.
Last year, Adams infamously blamed the pandemic on “bat eating, sale of wetland animals, virus-making of greedy bastards” in what he later characterized in his apology as “a horror that the horrific animal cruelty in these wet markets is the possible source” to the virus, and [a promotion of] veganism. “
Back in October, Adams announced his 15th studio album So glad it hurts, which arrives March 22.
