Burial will be held for the victim at College Station Astroworld Tuesday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The funeral of a 22-year-old college senior who was critically injured at the Astroworld Festival in Houston is scheduled for Tuesday.

Bharti Shahani was among the 10 who died at the concert under the headline and curated by Travis Scott. Hundreds of others were injured and a criminal investigation into the deaths in Astroworld is still ongoing.

Family members say Shahani studied electronics systems engineering at Texas A&M University and was set to graduate next spring. Her cousin, Mohit Bellani, attended the festival along with Shahani, saying they were separated as the crowd began to flow.

Shahani died on November 10 from massive injuries she sustained while attending the Astroworld Festival on November 5.

Authorities have launched a criminal investigation, but have not yet ruled out any wrongdoing.

Bharti Shahani’s family, friends and loved ones have arranged a funeral at 13.30 on Tuesday 16 November. The funeral will be held at. Winford Funeral Home, located at 8514 Tybor Drive, Houston, Texas, 77074.

ONE GoFundMe account is created for the benefit of the family.
