Dean McDermott absent from Tori Spelling’s holiday card

Maybe Dean McDermott did not feel the holiday spirit.

Tori Spelling gave fans a glimpse on Instagram of her family’s holiday card this year – but her husband is noticeably lacking from the cheerful greeting.

The card contains the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star and the five children she shares with McDermott, and is interestingly signed, “XOXO, Tori & Family.”

While Spelling and McDermott remain at the center of divided rumors, the actress revealed in the comments section that the Canadian actor was gone and working when the snap was taken.

“Dean has to ‘work’ outside the city and could not get home in time for the annual Christmas picture,” commented one fan on the post along with a flashing emoji and an eye-rolling emoji suggesting something else was going on. on.

“Fact: @imdeanmcdermott was filming his new feature film in Canada,” Spelling replied.

While neither McDermott, 55, nor Spelling, 48, have publicly addressed the rumors that they are heading for a split, they have both constantly breathed a sigh of relief by leaving their wedding bands at home and being pictured with moving boxes.

Most notably, the “Scary Movie 2” actress was photographed furiously mad outside a lawyer’s office in October while holding a pad of notes on custody and assets.

According to photographers, the “Mistle-Tones” star spent about an hour inside the lawyer’s office and left with McDermott, 54, “nowhere in sight.”

Perhaps in an attempt to save face, the perhaps alienated couple took their children to Disneyland later that month to appear as a large, happy family, even though McDermott grimaced throughout the walk.

Reps for Spelling and McDermott did not return Page Six’s requests for comment.
