Detectives are looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal collision – CBS Tampa

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CW44 News At 10) – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Dover.

Friday, January 14, 2022, just after noon. At 8 a.m., a black Ford Mustang convertible hit a pedestrian on Gallagher Road and fled south toward Lewis Raulerson Road. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The vehicle lacks the right side mirror and may have damage to the front passenger side.

“This driver’s decision to flee the scene of the accident was ruthless, cruel and illegal,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “Our detectives are currently working to locate this driver. If anyone recognizes this vehicle, please contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office immediately.”
