Doja cat just won the R&B category and social media is responding. Check out the post that The Shade Room shared on social media.
“Social media seems to be a bit confused after it was announced that #DojaCat won ‘Favorite R&B Album’ at #AMAs. People seem to be confused that #JazmineSullivan did not win the awards in that category. Many also question whether Doja is a pop or R&B star, ‘notes TSR.

Someone said, ‘How did the only non-R&B artist on the list win the award?!?!’ and a commentator wrote this: ‘My problem is that KANYE takes the BEST GOSPEL, like how dare you all respect TASHA COBBS that way…. Let them ppl have the SECTION! ‘
A follower said: ‘They should have voted for her then’, and a commentator wrote this: ‘Doja has had a stupid big year. Doja is obviously not a better RnB artist than Jazmine Sullivan, but these awards are much of the time not based on who are the best. It is based on who sells the most. #facts! ‘

Another said: ‘These are popularity contests. Jazmine has been out for years and finally got recognition this year. Doha is also a good artist, but she is more popular. However, both ladies are talented! ‘
One commenter wrote this: ‘Or definitely HER. Prices are never by popularity, but by politics. ‘
One follower said, ‘This is why I’m not getting into awards. There’s always some fun shit going on. Doja does not know such an R&B well. Trist asf. ‘
Earlier this year, according to Hot New Hip Hop, Azealia Banks tried her hardest over the past week to get into a feud with two of rap music’s most successful female artists at the moment, in particular, Doja cat and Megan Thee Stallion, whose former Banks had called “fat and disgusting.”
As previously reported, Banks was all over the headlines after it was alleged she had boiled the remains of her cat, who had been dead for four months. Banks then sparked controversy when she repeatedly called Doja “fat and disgusting” on her IG.
Banks also had some words for Megan Thee Stallion. For the most part, the reaction from her fans and followers was overwhelmingly negative, mostly because it seemed like Banks was just coming after them both from somewhere with uncertainty or a need for impact.
Banks went to her IG again to tell her haters and said how she had the right to say what she wanted about two of the greatest female rappers.
