Eliza Dushku testifies about ending forced arbitration clauses

-BTVS / Tru Calling / Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku has testified before Congress to end forced arbitration clauses in contracts.

-She describes the sexual harassment she encountered while on the CBS show ‘Bull’ by Michael Weatherly and how the clause never came up in the negotiations.

-The forced arbitration clause means that CBS / Michael Weatherly is protected from the public ever learning about the case beyond what the star has revealed along with the video evidence being locked away.

-Eliza stopped performing after the incident in 2017 after a 30-year career and refuses to return to Hollywood if it means she has signed her rights.

– While Eliza had to endure sexual harassment, be silenced and her career threatened, Michael Weatherly / CBS had to continue as if nothing had happened, and the show is currently in its 6th season.

– The House Judiciary Committee voted to abolish the compulsory arbitration clause, and it must now be considered in the House of Representatives.
