Everything we know about ‘Moon Knight’ as far as the trailer goes online

Knights of the Moon is the latest classic Marvel character to get its own Disney + series, and the new trailer has shown fans what to expect.

Oscar Isaac is the title hero of this London-based MCU show, which will soon be on the streaming platform. Marvel and Disney have kept their cards close to their chests before release with only a few casting announcements, and they’ve also kept many story details hidden – until now.

Prior to the launch of Knights of the Moon, Disney +’s fifth live-action MCU series, here’s everything you need to know about the series.

What is Knights of the Moon About?

The trailer off Knights of the Moon introduces us to a mild-mannered character named Steven Grant, played by Isaac. He complains of not being able to tell the difference between his dreams and reality and even goes so far as to tie himself to his bed at night so he does not go for a walk.

Later, we see that “Steven”, who works at a museum in London, has dissociative identity disorder and also goes by Marc Spector, which is a name known to Marvel Comics fans.

Throughout, we see that Marc / Steven can be an unreliable narrator as he sees images of things that are not there. The trailer ends as bandages start mummifying Marc and he becomes one Knights of the Moon.

In London’s museum environment, ancient Egyptian artifacts are constantly seen, which will in all probability lead to Marc becoming the super powerful Knights of the Moon.

Along with Isaac is Oscar-nominated actor Ethan Hawke (Training day, Reality bites). He plays cult leader Arthur Harrow, and the trailer shows his influence on his followers who bow to him on the street.

Also confirmed to perform is the French actor Gaspard Ulliel (Hannibal Rising), who will play Anton Mogart, while the Egyptian-Palestinian actress May Calamawy (Frame) has also been cast.

Jeremy Slater (Umbrella Academy) is credited as the creator of Knights of the Moon. Mohamed Diab directs four of the episodes, while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directed the other two as a pair.

When will Knights of the Moon Being published?
