Fortnite teases the return of Tilted Towers on Twitter

Tilted Towers was a notorious landmark from the past days of Fortnite: a dense multi-level area with high spawn speeds for gear, but also plenty of places for enemies to hide, leaving a high-risk, high-reward drop zone and a natural setting for tense, memorable firefights. It has seen some variations and relapses in various updates over the years, but has been MIA for some time.

The official account’s tweet with emoji from a city skyline seems to confirm what dataaminate uncovered earlier this month: that the Tilted Towers return to the current iteration of Fortnites cards. It seems pretty certain that we will see this new version in the game’s 19.10 update launching tomorrow.

The constantly evolving nature of Fortnite’s cards means that a fan-favorite assassination hole can be lost along the way, but Epic can gain a huge emotional gain by getting it back. I can only wonder what emoji Valve will use in his tweet that teases the return of de_dust2’s primary sniper alley, that sporting event in 2024.
