Frost warning issued in parts of Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO, California (CROWN) – Before heading out for New Year’s Eve, you might want to gather in the Bay Area!

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the North Bay Valleys, the Southern Salinas Valley and the inner mountains of Monterey and San Benito counties.

The frost warning will be in effect from midnight to noon. 9 New Year’s Day.

According to the NWS, temperatures are expected to drop to the low 20s to low 30s during the night.
