“Lauren Boebert is TRASH,” Kinzinger said simply in a tweet. That led Boeberts only Republican challenger in next summer’s primary election, Marina Zimmerman, to retweet the comment, adding: “Help me take the trash out.”
Boebert claimed she had just stepped into an elevator with Omar in the U.S. capital recently when a worried police officer hurried over before the doors closed.
“I look to my left and there she is, Ilhan Omar,” Boebert said in a video clip of her narrative. “I say, yes, she does not have a backpack, we should be fine.”
She also claimed that she looked at the Democratic legislature and said, “Oh, look, the jihadist troupe decided to show up for work today.”
The problem is that Omar said none of that happened.
“Actually, this hassle looks down when she sees me at the Capitol, this whole story is fabricated,” Omar tweeted. “Sad that she thinks bigott is getting her influence.”
However, people still loved Kinzinger’s “garbage” tweet – and Zimmerman’s comment.
