Do you know your Levi-o-sa from your Levio-sar?
Get your magic wands, Nimbus 3000s and Butterbeer ready! We have our first look at Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses! The TBS and Cartoon Network-created competition-based show flies on November 28 and comes to us once a week on Sundays through December 19 with a total of four episodes.
It’s almost 20 years ago Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first took filmgoers to the wizarding world, and to celebrate, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses promises to bring us the very best and brightest wizards and witches to go from head to head once and for all to prove which house knows best. The team that knows the most takes home the coveted title of House Cup Champion! To sweeten the pot (not with any chocolate frogs, I hope), we have been promised that some special guests will also stop by to cheer on their favorite houses.
Broadcast on both TBS and Cartoon Network as part of their ACME Night, Hogwarts tournament of houses will also be available on HBO Max on an unknown future date in early 2022. Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren (The queen, The good liar), will host what is sure to be a festive event for all Harry Potter lovers.
Judging by the preview, we can expect lots of magic and celebration in a smaller version of what appears to be the Great Hall at Hogwarts. Are Gryffindor separated by their daring, nerve and chivalry? Will Slytherin finally assert greatness? Will Ravenclaw use their championship to take home the House Cup Champions title? Or will the righteous, loyal and patient Hufflepuffs not be afraid of wear and tear and step up to claim their victory? There is only one way to find out, and that is by tuning in to TBS and Cartoon Network from November 28th. In the meantime, you can take a first look at what to expect from Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.
