- Prior to his appearance, his character Eros had never been mentioned in MCU.
- Now, one who is being touted as a reliable source claims that Styles’ future with Marvel will be “massive”.
Harry Styles shocked Marvel fans when he appeared in one Eternal mid-credits scene as Eros, brother of Thanos. No one knew it would come. But when it did, fans knew it was a big deal. After all, Marvel would not have put such a big star into a scene without having plans for the character. Could Styles’ future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe be more “massive” than even the biggest fans then come?
Eros was never mentioned in MCU before Harry Styles’ appearance in ‘Eternals’
Before he appeared in Eternal, Eros had never been seen or mentioned in MCU. In the surprise scene, the Eternals were on the hunt for the remaining celestial ones when Eros suddenly interrupted them.

He was joined by the Troll Pip, who announced his arrival at the Domo and introduced him as the Prince of Titans. Eros announced that he knew where to find the recently abducted Phastos, Kingo and Sersi, who were all in danger. What’s more, he could help Druig, Then and Makkari get them back.
Eros is a ‘pretty foxy guy’ in the Marvel comics
Instead of being like his crazy Titan brother, Eros is a carefree, female adventurer known as Starfox. It’s a code name he received from Wasp when he joined the Avengers because he’s a “pretty foxy guy” who came from the stars.
He’s part of Marvel’s cosmic canon that MCU fans know thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy. And most notably, he is a massive flirt. Seriously, he was on a team with Scarlet Witch, Monica “Captain Marvel” Rambeau, Wasp and She-Hulk, and Starfox flirted with each and every one of them. We should also mention that in the comics, Starfox has an “enjoyment power.”
Harry Styles’ future in MCU could be more ‘massive’ than fans thought
What could Styles’ surprising appearance as Eros – also called Starfox – mean for the character’s future in the MCU? According to Giant Freakin ‘Robot, it could be even more “massive” than even the biggest fans then come.

“Harry Styles is ready to be a big part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Audiences should expect to see a lot more of him. He’s spoken to Kevin Feige, the manager of Marvel, who promised great things for the actor’s future. A solo project for Starfox is an option on the table, ”the insider whispered.
“It sounds like Harry Styles is being set up for a massive future in their cinematic universe, something comparable to Nick Fury’s many appearances.”
Marvel has not confirmed the Starfox rumors
Despite the insider being hailed as reliable, with a story of truths about Marvel, we have to make it clear that the claim that Styles has signed a five-film deal is only a rumor. No one from Marvel or Styles’ team has confirmed that this is true.
Feige has addressed Styles’ performance in Eternal, though. At the Hollywood premiere Spider-Man: No Way Home in December, Feige actually teased the character’s return. But he did not reveal any details about Styles’ possible future at MCU.
