Marvel Studios’ premiere date for Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld’s Hawkeye will include the release of two episodes at Disney + in November.
A new trailer reveals that Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld’s Hawkeye will premiere two episodes on Disney +.
The trailer starts with Clint Barton declaring to his family that they are having the best Christmas ever. Part of his plans involve taking the family to New York to see Rogers The Musical, a stage game that appears to be based on Captain America and the Avengers. We then find out that Clint tells this story to Kate Bishop, as we are also introduced to Track Suit Mafia / Draculas.
Linda Cardellini even appears as Laura Barton when she asks Clint if he will need more days in New York to settle a case with Kate. A new scene that was not shown in HawkeyeThe first trailer features Clint kicking off the Tracksuit Draculas as they exit a white van. “Probably should have brought more guys,” Clint says. Unfortunately, when even more members make their presence known, he can only respond with, “Oh, well. You did,” before being hit in the stomach with a baseball bat.
We end up with Clint and Kate on the run in his car while he reveals that the archery duo are out of ordinary arrows. This leaves them with trick arrows, which Kate uses by shooting one at a “Trust-a-Bro” van and sending it into the air with an explosion. “Are there arrows more dangerous than that?” she asks as Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” plays in the background.
Two-episode premiere at Hawkeye was not known before the release of this new trailer, but it follows a similar release strategy for WandaVision, which also debuted with double episodes in January. Hawkeye consists of six episodes in total in season 1.
There have been rumors that Hawkeye will get Vincent D’Onofrio to repeat his Wilson Fish / Kingpin role from Netflix vovehals. However, the actor is not ready to confirm anything yet. “Stupid to look deeper into the little pieces I write,” D’Onofrio tweeted after fans began scouring his Twitter-like looking for clues to his return in Hawkeye. “I’ve been writing them for years now. Although I appreciate the fandom. Because I loved playing him in @daredevil.”
On the other hand, D’Onofrio has also publicly stated how he would love to play Kingpin again. “I take that as a compliment. I would so much like to play that character again,” D’Onofrio said. “I love that character. I just have to wait for Marvel to ask me. I think it’s very clear I would and fans know I would jump at the chance to play again. I just have to stay asked. “
Hawkeye premieres in two episodes on November 24 at Disney +.
