Southfield (CBS 62) – Two executives — Susan Westhoff, COO of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, and Christian Greer, president and CEO of the Michigan Science Center in Detroit, appear on CBS 62’s “Michigan Matters” this Sunday to talk about how they help reveal more young people for science and technology and the jobs of the future.
They show up with Carol Cain, senior producer / host, to talk about new exhibits they have and also how they have adapted when coping with the pandemic.

Jenny Brown, co-founder of Dutton Farm, which helps young people with special needs find work and opportunities, then discusses how she started it as an initiative to help her sister, who has Down syndrome. It flourished and has since grown to help many more since 2010 with her unique programs and initiatives.

And Madison Novice, co-founder of Cap & Conquer, a nonprofit that helps people struggling with cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy and helping them not to lose their hair using a special hood through their efforts. Novice, a doctor at a medical school, found out about the treatment while undergoing chemo as she was also facing cancer. When she saw how expensive it is, she joined forces with others to start the organization as it helps people who are undergoing chemo and do not have the means to be able to use the cap.
