InComm Healthcare debuts online insurance site

In an effort to enhance the online user experience for members of the insurance medical plan, the FinTech company pays InComm Healthcare introduces an expanded health care center, according to a press release on Wednesday (Nov. 17). Health plans utilizing the benefit center will offer members a one-stop-place to view and manage their supplemental benefits via the new website and app, according to the announcement.

Health plan members’ personal dashboards have an available balance, indicated by each benefit program, a transaction history and a provider-finder in the network among other offers. Participating health care members can review their personalized information MyBenefitsCenter.com.

The Atlanta-based firm, which serves more than 320 health care facilities to 7 million members, provides health plans with a program to allocate funds earmarked for specific benefits, including over-the-counter (OTC), healthy foods, dentistry, vision and hearing, transportation, home care , as well as incentives and rewards, according to the announcement.

“As we have enabled more and more healthcare schemes to offer Medicare additional benefits on a single benefit card, our roadmap has grown to include an online membership experience that reflects the same level of efficiency and ease of use,” said Brian Parlotto, InComm Executive Vice President for Payments. “The new Benefits Center will help members visualize their benefit packages and encourage them to take full advantage of all available benefits with the utmost convenience.”

The InComm Healthcare Benefit Center is the latest in a series of recent collaborations aimed at improving access to health-related goods and services. In July, the company announced a joint effort with Convey Health Solutions to provide better access to OTC services for its healthcare plan employees, according to PYMNTS. The partnership makes use of Miramar, Conveys Medicare sign-up software.
