Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh has enjoyed a very special baby show, which of course was attended by her famous sister Kimberley.
The 34-year-old actress, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the soap, is due to give birth around Christmas time.
A group of close friends, including Amy’s co-stars, including Fiona Wade, Michelle Hardwick, Laura Norton, Natalie Ann Jamieson and Olivia Bromley, all joined the upcoming mother in the festivities.
Former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson was also there with her adorable daughter Mia.
Amy looked positively glowing wearing a floor-length cerise pleated satin dress that complimented her platinum blonde hair perfectly.
Big sister and Girls Aloud singer Kimberley, who has three children of her own, also looked amazing wearing a pink floral dress.
The festivities were held at Faversham in Leeds, which was adorned with green, pink and gold balloons and a neon sign that stood for Oh Baby.
The band also played Food or Brood, where they had to guess whether Amy was looking at pictures of food or babies in a photograph.
The actress, whose beauty is EastEnders actress Toby Alexander-Smith, told OK !: “There was not a dry eye in the house.” It was a very emotional day.
“I just had people there who are my really good friends. I had so many gifts, and between them, and all the hand-me-downs I’ve gotten from my sisters, I’m okay!”
Amy explained that it was the first time she had met Toby’s mother and sister because of Covid, and also revealed that the couple had moved to a new place together in the south of England.
The actress also revealed that she would be taking maternity leave from Emmerdale very soon because it was “ridiculous” to try to hide the bump.
“I’ve had pillows in front of me and there have been a lot of coats and scarves,” she explained.
As for what their bundle of joy will be called when they arrive, Amy said she and Toby have chosen one name for a boy and girl, but also joked that there was a backup.
“We can call it Kevin if I go into labor while watching Alone at Home!”, She laughed.
The couple’s baby could be born on Christmas Day, which is the same birthday as Amy’s grandmother.
Asked how she would feel if the little one showed up on December 25, Amy explained that she would be happy because she would see it as a sign from her relative.
