The duo, who first joined in 2018, were reunited in May after an earlier split in August 2020. “John and Jen are in similar places in their lives and may relate to raising children after a divorce,” a source told U.S at the time. “They are on the same page and understand where things stand.”

Miller, on the other hand, shares two children with his ex-wife Caroline Campbell.
“For a good while, it was important for both of them to focus on their kids and enjoy their time together on a low profile,” says the first insider about Garner and her beau, adding that the couple’s friends believe in a commitment may come soon.
At the moment, however, they are “quite old-fashioned and respectful until that happens,” the source says, noting that “it is unlikely they would live together before things were formalized.”
Before she married Affleck, 49, Garner was married to an actor Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004. She was also briefly attached to her Alias costar Michael Vartan. “It’s hard to remember that Jen was so happy and she definitely feels safe with John, who is unlike any other she has ever dated,” the source says U.S. “He is, of course, hugely successful in himself, and she loves his mature and measured outlook on life. Being with someone as down to earth and calm as John is exactly what Jen needed in a partner. ”
Although the couple may not be ready to move in together yet, an insider told U.S last month that they have deepened their relationship by spending more time with each other’s children.
“They spend a lot more time together,” the source revealed in September. “They have kept their children separate from their relationship for a long time, but now plan to incorporate their children more.”
