Judge Greg Mathis embraces living within his means so he can give something to his grandbabies.
The popular TV judge is known for his hard love and expertise in law, but he also uses his platform to teach fiscal responsibility.
The 61-year-old, who hails from Detroit, shared a selfie Sunday aboard a commercial plane. Although he has probably earned a decent fortune as a TV judge, he shows that he chooses to fly commercially over expensive private flights so he can help fund his grandchildren’s college education.
So if you see Judge Mathis on your next flight, you can not be too surprised when he opened up about his financially responsible choice.
“Back flying commercial,” the TV judge wrote in his caption. “The private planes took my grandchildren’s education expenses. I always choose to fund college for future generations rather than personal convenience for myself. ”
Judge Mathis was praised for his decision, in which many roommates expressed their appreciation for his openness and sacrifice for his babies.
“Real parents sacrifice, and grandparents love the hardest !!”, wrote a cohabitant.
“No need to explain how you spend your money to someone who can’t even match them,” said another.
Famous jewelery Ben Baller even chimed in to confirm how expensive these private flights really are.
“People forget that a private return flight from LA to Miami is $ 75,000. To Asia around $ 250,000- $ 300,000 (and the worst scary experience imaginable with turbulence and perhaps having to stop and refuel) should not be surprised to see me in a commercial way, and I often rent a jet. Save your $$$$ unless this is not for you, ”he said.
