Kanye West cheated on Kim Kardashian after welcoming her first two children – and is the inspiration for his new song “Hurricane”.
Several sources confirmed the significance behind the telling lyrics in the track from “Donda”, his latest album, which was released with lots of fanfare and controversy.
“The song is in a way his testimony of everything he did wrong and took responsibility for their breakup,” an insider said.
In the song, the West raps: “Here I go actin ‘too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / still play after two children / There is a lot to digest when your life is always moving”.
Our source confirmed that the aforementioned “new chicken” is not short throw Irina Shayk, despite rumors swirling otherwise.
“If you look closely at the text, he refers to his infidelity during his marriage to Kim, even after two children,” the insider continued.
The song also hints that West, 44, never goes home to their multi-million dollar mansion and struggles with alcohol abuse.
“Architectural Digest, but I needed housing improvements / Sixty-million-dollar home, never went home to it,” he says of his struggling marriage. “Genius has gone ignorant, it’s a lot to risk / Alcohol anonymous, who’s the busiest loser?”
Despite the apparent confession of infidelity, we are told that it was not the straw that broke the camel’s back to Kim as she continued to have two more children before ending it.
A West representative did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment. Side Six broke the news in early January that Kim, 40, was about to end his marriage to rapper “All of the Lights”. The former “Keeping Up With Kardashians” star officially filed for divorce in February.
Despite the divorce, KKW Beauty founder has publicly supported West since the “Donda” promotion started – although she is sometimes listening to silent.
