Magnolia Network allows show “Home Work” to return to the air after an investigation into allegations of sloppy home improvement work, Fox News Digital has confirmed.
“Homework” follows Utah-based couple Andy and Candis Meredith and their mixed family of nine as the two embark on renovation projects for customers’ homes and rental homes. The duo has previously hosted “Old Home Love” on HGTV.
Magnolia Network, launched by Chip and Joanna Gaines, confirmed to Fox Business that the show had been pulled on Saturday. But after talking to Merediths and other homeowners, the network found that there was no “sick or malicious” intent from the couple.
“Magnolia Network is dedicated to sharing hopeful and true stories. In doing so, we strive to meet people with compassion and gently approach difficult moments with honest understanding,” Magnolia President Allison Page said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
