The episodes were about 100 minutes and delighted fans who can not get enough of longtime Avenger Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and MCU newcomer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).
Now, however, new reports suggest that the playing times for episodes 3 and 4 are dramatically shorter, which can be disappointing for Marvel Cinematic Universe loyalists.

According to one of these reports, the combined driving time for the next two Hawkeye episodes will last 80 minutes, which is significantly shorter than expected. Cutting about ten minutes from each episode means a lot of history could have been left on the cutting room floor.
While this may not seem like a lot of time at first glance, to put it in perspective, network TV shows with 30-minute slots actually run for 22 minutes to cater for commercial breaks. Essentially over the next two episodes of Hawkeye, Marvel Studios has cut almost one full network sitcom rate.

Tom Hiddlestons Loke, however, became shorter after the premiere. None of these series, however, had a section as short as 40 minutes.
