Developer Netmarble confirmed that the content had a theme Spider-Man: No Way Home will be added soon Marvel Future Fight.
Marvel Future Fight bids 2021 farewell with its last major update of the year, mainly dedicated to celebrating Spider-Man’s latest adventure on the big screen. From today, players can access a range of new cosmetics, including Spidey’s Black and Gold suit as well as the integrated suit. In addition to the Wall-Crawler, players of the popular mobile game can also grab the Winter Criminal outfit for both Kingpin and Black Cat. While Spider-Man’s costumes are a direct reference to his appearance in No way home, Wilson Fish and Felicia Hardy’s latest looks appear to be original designs.
To celebrate the update, Netmarble released a short teaser preview The battle of the futures outfits. The footage mainly consists of gameplay showing Spider-Man, Kingpin and Black Cat taking on their new designs and getting started. It also looks like this update will add some seasonal cheers as Black Cat’s abilities seem to create collections of wrapped gifts and a Christmas tree.
In addition to these new cosmetic additions, Marvel Future Fight‘s latest 2021 update includes a few mechanical changes. Kingpin can now be upgraded to Tier 3 and also has a new Ultimate Skill. In addition to this character tweak, autoplay is now available to Alliance Battle players, and “Dimension Rift” automatic repeat feature is available to all players.
Launched in 2015, Marvel Future Fight contains over 248 playable characters, each of which can be upgraded to a variety of power levels. With its gigantic list of heroes and a story written by Marvel cartoonist Peter David, the game has proven to be a huge success, surpassing 120 million players at the time of writing. The battle of the future received rave reviews from fans who praised its compelling gameplay loop and deep customization options.
As for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster starring Wall-Crawler, will see Peter Parker battle his most dangerous enemies to date. Drawn from the entire multiverse by a messy spell cast by Doctor Strange, Spider-Man must defeat villains like Doctor Ock, Green Goblin, Electro and Sandman, all of whom have a personal score they seek to determine. While The battle of the future‘s latest update includes content dedicated to Kingpin, the detective is not set to appear in the film, according to Vincent D’Onofrio, who recently repeated the role of Hawkeye.
Marvel Future Fight is available on iOS and Android devices.
