Melora Hardin talks about ‘DWTS’ body transformation after elimination

Melora Hardin did not win Dance with the stars, but the show could have helped her get in the best shape of her life.

Before she bowed the last one, Hardin got a chance to remake his rumba from the September 27 episode, getting a score of 36 out of 40 this time. However, that was not enough to get her and the Russian choreographer into the finals.

While Bold TypThe alum was disappointed with their finish, she was proud of how hard she trained – and was a bit surprised by the results.

“I’m fine, I lost 12 kilos without even trying. I do not even know how it happened,” she revealed on Monday. “I think I’m at my [same] body weight [as I was in]2008. “

It was the same year that Hardin starred in the musical Chicago on Broadway and was just as permeated by dance rehearsals. Now, though, she feels she can really see the difference.

Her relationship with Chigvintsev is what stands out for her when she says goodbye to the ballroom. Despite their ups and downs in the show, which included a tense battle during rehearsals in week eight, she could not have asked for a better partner.

“I’ve gotten so much out of Artem,” she told me U.S Monday night when she began to suffocate. “[He’s] an amazing teacher, an amazing choreographer and an amazing dancer. I feel like I have been so held and so loved. It makes me cry. “

Through her tears, she added, “In the end, I have such a good friend. … I really feel like we have such a beautiful friendship.”

Hardin is not the only competitor this season who has noticed a healthy change from the practice process. DWTS participant Mike “The Miz” principle told U.S in October that he had lost 15 pounds thanks to the show – but his wife, Maryse Mizanin, was not a big fan of his trimmed figure.

“She does not like me thin,” joked the 41-year-old professional wrestler last month. “She likes me a little thicker with a little more meat.”
