Fireman Dereks gets the best out of the pumpkin season with a duo of pumpkin desserts. Choose from a decadent slice of pumpkin cheesecake made with a classic graham cracker crust topped with pralines and a caramel rain ($ 7.99 per slice); or pumpkin pie on a buttery, flaky crust garnished with a crispy streusel, whipped cream and a healthy shower of caramel syrup ($ 7.50 per slice). Both are available until November.

The Chocolate Makers at Garcia Nevett channels Mary Shelley’s literary masterpiece, Frankenstein, with monster-inspired delights. Choose from cake-caramel monster brain ($ 8) or anatomical heart-shaped chocolates that bleed red caramel ($ 4 for two) Other favorites include Nutella-filled skulls (a box of eight costs $ 18) and chocolate lollipops with spider webs ($ 3).

During the Halloween weekend, Natugle bakes nightmares with a Freddy Krueger-inspired cookie. In the photo above, this half-pound treat is made with Night Owl’s distinctive chocolate dough and in true horror fashion, strawberry jam oozes once bite ($ 5.50). PSL fans can grab a pumpkin-spice latte cookie topped with an espresso ganache and toasted pumpkin seeds ($ 4.50). Please note that the Nightmare at Night Owl Cake is only available 30-31. October, and the pumpkin-spice-latte cake will be available all week. Both cookies can be purchased for collection or delivery anywhere.

The ice cream makers at Salt & Straw have conjured up some frighteningly delicious frozen confectionery. This year includes the creepy series “Great Candycopia,” where homemade versions of your favorite Halloween candies like Kit Kat and Reese’s peanut butter cups are folded into a salted-butter caramel base; or “Jack o ‘Lantern Pumpkin Bread,” a pumpkin lover’s dream with mouth-watering pumpkins, freshly baked pumpkin bread and swirls of velvety cream cheese frosting; but for the really brave of heart, we recommend “Don Bugito”, an ice cream with matcha flavor filled with pieces of toffee-crazy made from real mealworms and chocolate-coated grasshoppers.
