Michael Strahan will go to space with Space Royalty and several investors

Michael Strahan, he from the New York Giants and recently Good morning America fame, will burst into space thanks to Jeff Bezos and his rocket company, Blue Origin. They fly out of Texas at 9:30 CT on December 9th.

He is one of six people taking off on New Shepard, making it the first fully loaded aircraft yet. Besides Strahan, Laura Shepard Churchley, daughter of moonwalker Alan Shepard, will be on New Shepard, which is named after the famous astronaut. Investors Dylan Taylor, Evan Dick, and Lane Bess, and his son, Cameron Bess, will also go. What do you call a group of venture capitalists launched into space? I have no punch line! I’m really asking!

Strahan is the other famous person to go. Blue Origin sent William Shatner, nee Captain Kirk af Star Trek, most recent. Other celebrities I suggest they contact to keep catching headlines: Ed Sheeran (he can actually go Virgin Galactic and help his countryman). Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson (the first couple who might be serious boyfriends doing it in space). Kanye West For that matter. Clifford from Clifford the Great Red Dog (think of the headlines). The second obvious suggestion is Tom Hanks, but he already said no.
