Michael warns Jasmina that he is busy

To make time for love. Married at First sight the viewers were introduced to Michael Morency and Jasmina Outar during season 14 – and their marriage got off to a rock-solid start when the two bumped heads in the middle of the reception.

The Lifetime reality show features relationship experts pairing strangers who meet at the altar on their wedding day. The reception is the first time the two get to know each other – and Michael and Jasmina’s chat after the ceremony is very eye-opening based on Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the episode on Wednesday, January 19th.

The video starts sweetly enough with Michael, as the program has been nicknamed Training for Love, discussing how dedicated he is to finding love.

“When I was growing up, my family experienced losses and it affected everything. So it has been difficult to figure out how to let people in, but I’m looking for love, ”the groom tells the cameras in the preview. “I’m looking to have a companion. I knew I had to take a big leap to make it a success, and I’m glad I did.”

Michael, 28, is a personal trainer who has had accidents with dating apps and is ready to start a family. His wife Jasmina, 29, is an early childhood education teacher who wants true love after being burned by several cheating exes. The teacher, nicknamed Ms. No Nonsense, maybe even his ideal woman.

“She’s compassionate. She’s from a big family, so we’re connected,” he says. “So I’m just excited to talk to her a little bit more and really get to know more about my wife.”

The couple starts with a little chat during the wedding reception, where Jasmina asks: “So you are a pet lover?”

Michael tells her, “Yeah, but my schedule is so crazy. I can’t see how I could really care for a dog.”

Jasmina goes on to ask her new husband about his daily routine. The coach then reveals that he gets up at. 4 every morning to go to work and he comes home after noon. 19. His 13-hour workdays are Monday through Friday, but he also takes some clients on the weekends.

The bride does not look excited about her husband’s busy life. It sounds like he’s barely home, and that clearly makes Jasmina nervous about how much time he will be able to devote to building the foundation of their relationship.

“In my previous relationships, I’ve had a bad habit of being with people there [are] just emotionally inaccessible, ”Jasmina says during a confession. “I deserve someone who puts me first and really wants the same thing I want. Marriage is definitely not a joke to me. I take it very seriously.”

Can the groom find a way to put his new wife before his job? Right now, Jasmina can only cross her fingers.

“I hope Michael is on the same page as me. We’ll see how it goes,” says the newlyweds in the teaser.
