The cult film’s favorite Actually lovey gets an incredible combo experience with film + concert in DTLA’s Microsoft Theater.
Could it be the holiday yet ?! The event will feature a screening of Richard Curtis, directed film with a score performed live by the Billy Mack Orchestra. The event will also host a Christmas candle procession. Highlight your calendar LA, the beloved holiday romantic comedy Love Indeed comes on stage on December 17th. Black Ink Presents, the LA-based creative and production company behind “live-to-picture” film and concert experiences, offers a nightly performance of Love Actually in Concert at Downtown LA’s Microsoft Theater. It will feature a preview of the Richard Curtis-directed film from Universal Pictures and Working Title with a score performed live by the Billy Mack Orchestra, based on composer Craig Armstrong’s work on the film. Under the direction of award-winning conductor Thiago Tiberio, the Billy Mack Orchestra will also perform orchestral arrangements of the film’s pop songs. The company has also promised: a Christmas light procession that rings during the holiday season, and a festive feel to the event.
Considered an integral part of the holiday, the 2003s Love Indeed tells the intertwined love stories of a group of Londoners in the weeks leading up to the Christmas holidays.
Tickets for Love Actually in Concert sold Oct. 1 with prices ranging from $ 50- $ 130 with VIP packages available for $ 230, including a private reception, VIP seating and an exclusive gift bag. More information about the show can be found here.
