One by one we have seen Star wars characters who made their debut in animated shows take the leap to live-action. Deadline has reported that the latest will be Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian warrior introduced in Star Wars: Rebels. Sabine Wren will perform in live action in Star Wars: Ahsoka series and Deadline hear that the character will be played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Community).
Star Wars: Ahsoka is written by Dave Filoni, who will also be producing with Jon Favreau. Rosario Dawson will repeat her role as Ahsoka Tano, whom she played for the first time in the second season The Mandalorian. Natasha Liu Bordizzo made her film debut in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and continued to perform The greatest showman, Hotel Mumbai, Community, Guns Akimbo, The most dangerous game, and The voyeurs.
If you are not up to it Star Wars: Rebels, here’s what the official Star Wars database has to say about Sa.good Wren. “Sabine Wren was a mandaloric warrior, explosives expert and graffiti artist – traits that came in handy as one of the first rebels against the empire,”Reads the report. “Sabine, who is part of the Ghost crew, used her gift for bomb making with great effect against the empire and often marked her work with spray paint brands. Her classic Mandalorian armor was remarkable for incorporating her own custom stylings that reflected her creative-meets-rebellious spirit.“Sabine Wren was last seen in the epilogue of Star Wars: Rebels sets off with Ahsoka Tano on a mission to bring Ezra Bridger home. During Ahsoka’s appearance in The Mandalorian, she was seen asking where Grand Admiral Thrawn was, who was last seen being dragged through the hyperspace to unknown parts along with Ezra.
